Where have all the Firebrands gone?Jordan- He became Assistant Pastor at his church, and worked at a Youth Camp for this entire last summer. He is now at Pacific Lutheran University to get his degree in Theology and to become a pastor (though, according to him, not necessarily a Lutheran Pastor.) I wish him the greatest luck.
Anthony- I wandered churches for a while, hoping to find something that "fit". Something that touched all my morals, and my beliefs, and other things like that. I was baptised a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints a few short days after my 18th birthday. I think I've finally found my niche as far as churches go. I'm finishing up my high school career, and hoping to attend Whitworth University in the fall of 2009.
Brooke- Status-Foe, for those of you who don't know her. I know she's back in school for her Junior year, and we still talk as often as we can. Perhaps she'll log in and write more on herself. She was very chipper last time we talked
And now...the torch should be passed. This club had a lot of potential. However, these sorts of things happen: I joined a new church, Jordan went off to college, Brooke got too busy. It doesn't mean that the word of God needn't be spread. This club could be taken over. If not this, then perhaps another club besides: One that is willing to stand up and say "No matter what, I stand for God." I hope that those of you watching this club will always remember that: You are children of God, and no one in the world can compare with His greatness...but we must follow our commandments and love our neighbors because he requires that of us, of all Christian men and women, boys and girls.
